With all the accolades Subaru has been piling up over the past couple of years, it would be easy to take any criticism (e.g., Subaru's cars may drive great, but they sure are ugly) with a grain of salt. But rather than ignore the critics, Subaru offers the B11S coupe concept as a design study for future products. Not to say all of Subaru's future cars will look like this, but not since the SVX have Subaru designers penned anything so daring. The B11S is a B-pillarless coupe featuring two pair of side doors, a frosted glass roof, and folding rear seats. The front grille, composed of a center portion flanked by two "wings," pays tribute to Subaru's origins: the company was originally an aircraft manufacturer.
BOTTOM LINE: Slap this front end on the entire product line, and you won't mistake a Subaru for anything else.
