Perhaps the most disappointing concept car at the show was the Visos, which was touted as providing a new design direction for Ford in Europe. Sure, this four-place coupe was nicely executed, but it was cold and lacked sex appeal. Under the skin, there was a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine making 345 hp, a six-speed transmission, and all-wheel drive. Twenty- inch wheels are pure concept car fantasy, as is the whole vehicle: Ford alludes back to the success of the old Capri and Escort in Europe, but the Visos looks derivative to us.
