The name is Japanese for "eagle's wing" and with its wide-opening front doors and rear slider doors that extend into the roof, the theme of this concept minivan is access. Besides the innovative aperatures, the Washu has a steer-by-wire system, which allows the steering wheel to tuck into the dashboard, which itself then moves forward nearly a foot. Inside are six individual seats; the middle two move fore and aft electrically and also move from side to side. The LCD glass roof switches between translucent and opaque. The powertrain is a 242-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 with a six-speed automatic.
