Exterior
Every inch of the 2011 Jaguar XJ is new and a complete departure from the car it replaces. Though it shares a familial resemblance with the new XF, its sleek headlights, vertical taillights and blacked-out C-pillars are completely unique.
Interior
Leather heated and cooled power front seats are standard on the XJ, as are heated rear seats. Jaguar's updated navigation and entertainment system is also standard, along with driver-configurable virtual gauges and automatic climate control.
Performance & Handling
The 2010 Jaguar XJ's 385 horsepower 5.0L V-8 is plenty powerful and offers the best fuel economy of the range, but drive a model with the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8, in either 470 or 510-horsepower trim, and you're likely to be addicted. Despite its size and heft, the XJ is surprisingly connected to the road and offers sporty handling that arguably matches the best in its class.

Front and side airbags are standard for the driver and passenger on the XJ. Side curtain airbags for both front and rear seat occupants are also standard. Dynamic safety features include standard Traction and Stability Control.
