Honda CRV brings a strong unibody design to the 2011 SUV lineup from Honda. This compact crossover SUV offers a very clever design and is one of the most competitive models in its class. This is not a big SUV, but its small form factor helps keep its price down and makes it available to many more people at a lower investment. The attention to detail and very smart packaging has made the CRV one of the more popular compact crossovers on the market. The interior cubic footage classifies this vehicle as a large sedan, but it does not look anything like a classically designed sedan. In fact the CRV has a taller SUV styling that takes advantages of many sexy curves and looks that are barrowed from much larger SUV designs.
The CRV base model sells for only $21,695 and this seems to be a completive price point compared to other smaller crossover models. The 2.4 liter engine in the CRV crossover allows for plenty of acceleration and offers a very reliable long lasting performance, as in all Honda models.

What's New
CR-V received a significant refresh in 2010 that included a freshened grille and bumpers, a 14-horsepower bump, and as well as increase in fuel efficiency. No major upgrades have been added to 2011 models, with the exception of a new, LX-based SE (Special Edition) trim level.
Exterior
Quirky styling distinguishes the much copied CR-V. Standard features include keyless entry, heat rejecting tinted glass and power folding side mirrors. Power moonroof, privacy glass and a security system are available on EX and EX-L only.
Interior
Even entry-level CR-Vs are well equipped with cruise control, adjustable steering column, power windows/door locks and tons of storage space. EX and above add leather and convenience features. Bluetooth is only available with navigation.
Performance & Handling
CR-Vs are available in front- or all-wheel drive, but only one powertrain is available. Its 180-horsepower, 2.4-liter four cylinder and 5-speed automatic combination revs smoothly and makes the CR-V feel faster than it actually is. Organic steering feel and a quiet, composed ride on or off pavement conspire to make the CR-V one of the best drivers in the segment.
Safety
All passengers have 3-point seatbelts. Dual-stage, multiple threshold front, front-side, and side curtain airbags come standard on the CR-V, as do driver and front passenger active head restraints, stability/traction control and braking aids including ABS, EBD, and BA.
