2011 BMW X6 xDrive35i SUV

2011 BMW X6 Review

(3 Stars)  Skip the X6 and go with an X5

Reviewed by Automotive on

Overview
The BMW X6 is the top of the line SUV from this high end auto manufacturer. The smaller X3 and X5 are classified at sports utilities, but the X6 is much larger and lays claim to a true SUV status. There is very limited interior room compared to other SUVs in its class. The BMW X6 seems much more like a crossover on the inside than a full sized SUV. This BMW model has not been widely celebrated by the critics due to its heavy weight and oversized exterior with nothing to show for on the inside. Regardless this BMW vehicle does offer some serious performance and can take you from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. This vehicle also has an amazing ability to maneuver like vehicles half its size.

This oversized SUV has a huge engine to make up for other shortcomings. The standard model comes with 4.4 liter V-8 engine that pushes 555 horsepower. This engine is one of the strongest points of the X6 and it does offer a very generous amount of power even though this model weighs in over 5,000 pounds.
