The Audi A6 may not be around much longer, many speculate that it is coming near the end of its lifecycle and may be replaced or simply removed from the Audi line up in the next few years. Even though this model has been around for some time, it still brings a lot of class and elegance to the full sized sedan class. There have been some cool changes to the looks and to the engine since the last updates in 2009.
The A6 has a brand new 3.0 liter supercharged V-6 engine that brings some very solid performance together with a mid level fuel economy. The A6 comes in a variety of body styles to fit almost everybody's needs, including convertible and sedan styling. This model does come equipped with the quarto all wheel drive system to provide an amazing amount of control in any driving condition. The one complaint about this Audi model is that the tight suspension causes some unneeded road noise inside the cabin.

What's New
With a next-generation model expected to debut soon, the 2011 Audi A6 receives only minor updates. The sportier S Line body is now standard on all models, as is Audi's latest 3G MMI infotainment system with navigation. Premium Plus models pick up rear parking sensors, as does the Prestige model, which also gets a back up camera.
Exterior
For 2011, the sporty S Line exterior package becomes standard on all models and includes upgraded door sills and front and rear bumpers. The exterior is otherwise unchanged from its 2009 model year update and will likely remain so until a new model arrives.
Interior
Leather and power front seats are standard across the line, as is Walnut wood trim and a navigation system. Front seat heaters and a multi-function, leather-wrapped steering wheel are optional on lower models and standard on higher models.
Performance & Handling
While the 2011 Audi A6's base 3.2-liter V-6 with its 265 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque is capable, the new 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 with its 300 horsepower and 310 pound feet is worth the extra coin and comes with standard AWD. Performance buffs can choose from a 4.2-liter V-8 (350 horsepower and 325 pound feet) and AWD or the sizzling S6 model with its 435 horsepower V-10 routed through sticky quattro AWD.
Safety
Driver and passenger front and side airbags are standard, along with front and rear head curtain bags. Rear side airbags are optional. Electronic Traction Control and Stability Control are standard.
