This vehicle can haul 7 people in car like comfort. It's four wheel independent suspension provide a sporty ride, and helps control body roll even over rough pavement. Some may find this very controlled ride to be somewhat firmer than that of the competition. Steering is also well executed on the CX-9. Perfectly weighted and very responsive. This goes a long way towards driver confidence behind the wheel of this large Mazda.
While it's available in several trim levels, they are all powered by a 3.7 liter V-6 generating 273 horsepower and 270 Ft.- lbs. of torque. This power is routed through a six speed automatic transmission.
