The Focus has been a very popular sedan from Ford for many years. This compact sedan has a lot to offer and it is surprisingly affordable when compared to other comparable models from different manufacturers. The Ford Focus has been in production for about 10 years now and it has been refined to produce a very smooth performing package. The most recent updates did not really change the overall value or usability on the Focus. Mostly some new design on the body and mild changes to the interior of the Focus account for this year's updates.
The Ford Focus does not come with some of the high tech gadgetry that you can get as options in other sedans, but it does come readily equipped for safety including a 6 airbag system. You can utilize the Ford Sync system as an upgrade, but beyond that this vehicle is about smooth rides and comfort made affordably. The Sync holds four passengers rather comfortably and offers a 13.8 cubic foot trunk space which is rather reasonable considering the Focus' small form.

What's New
The big news for the 2010 Focus is the addition of four-wheel ABS and stability control as standard features. Also added as standard equipment are Ford's MyKey system, keyless entry, power door locks, driver's message center, and Sync with traffic, directions, and information, a system similar to GM's OnStar.
Exterior
The Focus is largely white bread in its styling, with only SES models receiving bits of flair. In sedan and coupe form, these come with 17-inch aluminum wheels, a new front fascia, and a rear spoiler.
Interior
The Focus' interior is simple, if somewhat button-heavy. Passenger space is the same in the coupe and the sedan, as is cargo room. An 8-speaker, 190-watt stereo is available for all models.
Performance & Handling
The 2010 Ford Focus is offered with just one engine, a 2.0-liter I-4 that makes 140 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. It can be had with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, with the stick offering slightly better fuel economy along with a more-satisfying driving experience. SES models come with a performance-tuned suspension that improves handling.
Safety
The Focus comes standard with six airbags -- dual front, front side-impact, and front-and-rear side curtain -- plus stability control and four-wheel anti-lock brakes. Also standard is a tire-pressure monitoring system.
